Brief Note on the International Medical Center (IMC)

IMC stands for the International Medical Center. It is the most advanced and modern private tertiary care hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. IMC was launched in June 2006.
It may accommodate up to 300 beds and recruits only the top professionals in all medical as well as the administrative sectors.
The international medical center is partners with the Cleveland clinic foundation, a world leader in health care services based in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A.
In order to insure the highest quality health care service, the IMC has been a accredited by JCI, based in the united states.
Main Responsibilities:
Managing the pediatric center of excellence, with a vision to be a leader center in the care and treatment of sick infants and adolescents, pioneering the concept of family-centered care and training parents to become an integral part of the healing process. The IMC pediatric center of excellence is also a source of support for the families, and an advocate for the rights of all children to reach their full potential.
A member of the hospital executive committee, and medical executive committee, and chairman of CME committee.
Achievements:
1- Established the pediatric center of excellence with all pediatric subspecialties.
2- Established the pediatric cardiology section,includind interventional procedure.
3- Worked as a consultant pediatrician/ped.cardiologist.
4- Participated in the hospital community programs.
5- A coordinator between the IMC and King AbdullAziz University Hospital for Educational activities.
6- Participated in the JCI an accreditation.

Main responsibility:
Managing and directing the pediatric cardiology service in the hospital, this included OPD clinics, Echocardiography lab, and established the interventional ped.cardiology services for the 1st time in the hospital.
Achievements:
1- has established and started a full interventional ped.cardiology services for the 1st time in Saad specialist hospital.
2- Prepared all policies and procedures for ped.cardiology service.
3- Chapter leader in the JCI reaccreditation.
